Note from Equipment Solutions Outdoors: The following is based on a product announcement from Spartan / Intimidator UTVs. Equipment Solutions Outdoors is a proud authorized Spartan Mowers dealer serving Laddonia, Missouri and surrounding areas.
Spartan has added a new member to the Intimidator UTV family with the release of the 2025 FRX Crew Cab. Building on the single-cab FRX that was introduced earlier in 2024, the Crew Cab model brings four-seat capacity to the lineup, making it the most versatile Intimidator side-by-side yet for families, ranchers, and work crews who need to bring the whole team along.
Under the hood, the FRX Crew shares the single-cab's 1000cc inline four-cylinder engine, which Spartan describes as whisper-soft compared to typical UTV powerplants. Performance numbers are serious despite the quiet operation: the Crew Cab can tow 2,500 pounds via its standard 2-inch receiver hitch, carry a 2,050-pound payload, and reach a top speed of 45 mph. The drive system offers selectable 2WD and electronic 4WD to handle everything from gravel roads to muddy trails.
Suspension and braking receive the same premium treatment as the single-cab FRX. MacPherson strut front suspension and dual A-arm rear suspension both feature adjustable coils, allowing riders to dial in the ride for terrain and load conditions. Wilwood automotive-grade brakes deliver confident stopping power regardless of speed or cargo weight. The Crew Cab rolls on aluminum wheels wrapped in 8-ply rated tires—27x9x14 up front and 27x11x14 in the rear.
Inside the cab, the FRX Crew comes standard with a complete climate control system for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, a feature that sets the Intimidator apart from most UTVs in its class. An LED instrument display provides real-time readouts of gear, speed, RPM, engine hours, mileage, and diagnostic codes. LED lighting surrounds the vehicle, including daytime running lights, bright driving lights, and LED brake lights with turn signals. Half-doors built from a steel frame with injection-molded panels swing wide open with gas strut assistance for easy entry and exit.
The cargo bed measures 56 inches wide by 44.5 inches long with 11 inches of depth and a 1,000-pound capacity, giving the Crew Cab legitimate work truck utility alongside its passenger capability. At $21,499 MSRP, the FRX Crew Cab positions itself as a strong value proposition against competing crew-cab UTVs that often cost significantly more while offering less standard equipment.
The 2025 FRX Crew Cab joins the existing Intimidator UTV lineup alongside the FRX single cab and the GC1K series. To see the full UTV lineup or schedule a test drive, visit Equipment Solutions Outdoors in Laddonia, Missouri, or browse all available Intimidator UTVs online.
