Echo trimmers are what put the brand on the map, and they're the thing most people come in already knowing they want. We're an authorized Echo dealer in Laddonia and we carry the range from the 21.2 cc GT-225 up to the SRM-410X.
The short version: curved shaft for small yards, straight shaft for reach and commercial work, high torque if you're fighting thick weeds instead of grass.
How to pick an Echo trimmer
Curved shaft or straight shaft
Curved shaft trimmers like the GT-225 are lighter and easier to swing around a small yard. Straight shaft models like the SRM-225 reach further under decks and fence lines and stay balanced when you're going all day. Almost every commercial crew runs straight shaft.
Grass or brush
If you're cutting grass and light weeds, 21.2 cc is plenty. If you're clearing overgrown fence rows, the high-torque models (SRM-2320T, SRM-2620T) trade some head speed for pulling power and it makes a real difference. The 42.7 cc SRM-410X is Echo's most powerful trimmer and it's a land-clearing tool.
The i-75 starter is worth asking about
The GT-225i and SRM-225i are the same trimmers with Echo's easier-start system. If pull starting is the reason a trimmer sits in the shed, that's the version to buy.
Edging is a separate tool, or an attachment
A trimmer turned sideways cuts a ragged edge. A real edger runs a blade on a wheel and gives you a clean line. Echo's PE series does that, and if you'd rather not own two engines, the PAS system runs an edger attachment off one powerhead.

Common questions
What's the difference between the GT-225 and the SRM-225?
Same 21.2 cc engine. The GT-225 is curved shaft and lighter to swing; the SRM-225 is straight shaft with more reach and better balance. Homeowners with small yards usually prefer the GT, anyone doing bigger properties goes SRM.
Which Echo trimmer do landscapers buy?
The SRM-2620. It's the 25.4 cc X Series straight shaft and it's the volume commercial trimmer. Crews working heavy brush take the SRM-2620T high-torque version instead.
Do you carry battery trimmers?
Echo's 56V eForce platform covers trimmers, edgers, blowers, and hedge trimmers. Give us a call and we'll tell you what's on hand.
